Star Wars-Themed Rainy Day Activities

Writer: Zoe HintonZoe Hinton

It's been raining a lot recently in my neighborhood, and while not everybody might be a fan, I love a good rainy day. But what are the best ways to spend a rainy day in Star Wars fashion? Here are a few of my personal favorite ways to get cozy Star Wars style.

Curling Up With a Good (Star Wars) Book

Curling up with a good book is a classic rainy day activity, and it's very easy to do with Star Wars. Grab your favorite Star Wars book off the shelf (or listen to our recent podcast about Star Wars reading for inspiration) and get comfy on the couch! If you really want to elevate your Star Wars reading experience, you can pull up YouTube on your TV and put one of Star Wars' lofi videos on, or one of Star Wars Kids' Relax videos! Options range from chilling with Cassian Andor on the beach to naptime with Nubs!

Visiting Akiva in Star Wars Outlaws

If you're dying to get your hands on the controller, there's no better way to enjoy the rain than to make Kay and Nix enjoy it too! Hop in the Trailblazer and set your destination to the jungle planet Akiva- home to Temmin Wexley, hidden treasures, and plenty of rain! Get the experience of whipping through the rain on a speeder bike without having to deal with the cold and wet yourself!

Watching Attack of the Clones

If reading or playing games are a bit more hands-on than you're feeling, then put on a Star Wars movie! It's always a good time to watch any Star Wars movie, but on a rainy day I'm particularly partial to Attack of the Clones, thanks to the downpour Obi-Wan must walk through on Kamino.
