5 Things We're Keeping An Eye Out For At D23

D23 is this weekend, and we're all looking for plenty of new Star Wars related announcements. We're bound to get something about Andor, which comes out in 2 weeks, but what else can we look forward to? Here are just a few things I can't wait to get news about this weekend.

Hunters

It's no secret that I'm really excited for Star Wars Hunters. Star Wars Celebration attendants got to try out the game coming to mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch, and it was really fun! I love the bright, dynamic and creative characters, and can't wait for them to reveal even more. Hunters was originally slated for a 2022 release though it was delayed, and I hope that this weekend we can learn more about when it might be coming and more things to anticipate.

Ahsoka

The Ahsoka series was still pretty early in production during Celebration, though we still got a pretty explosive reel of it. We already got an Ezra casting announcement today and I'm hoping to learn more this series this weekend, and see what else we might expect.

The Mandalorian Season 3

The Mandalorian season 2 ended on a sad note, and though we got some more time with Din Djarin in The Book of Boba Fett earlier this year, I think we all can't wait to see him back in his own show. I'm looking forward to seeing the story with Bo-Katan and the darksaber continue, and maybe we can get an official release of the incredible trailer shown at Celebration this past May.

Tales of the Jedi

I missed this panel at Celebration, but I heard the first episode of this show was amazing! I'm always down for some more Ahsoka, especially an animated baby Ahsoka. Tales of the Jedi was slated for fall of this year, so hopefully we can walk away from D23 with a trailer for everybody and a concrete release date.

The Bad Batch Season 2

Finally, the announcements I'm most anticipating is The Bad Batch season 2. I was in the panel at Celebration screaming my head off over the trailer, and I cannot wait to see some fan favorites again when this show comes out. While an initial release date was September 28th of this year, with the Andor delays it's unclear if they'll keep it and premiere the two so close to another. With so many questions floating around, I'm hoping that by the time D23 finishes we'll have some answers about when we'll get to see our favorite clone squad again.
